Parviz, a man in his fifties, lives in his father’s home and has never held a job. This quiet routine suddenly comes apart with his father’s decision to remarry—and to have Parviz move out.
Negahdar Jamail and his obsession with filming Westerns in and around the ancient city of Shiraz are the subjects of this documentary, an affectionate portrait of a charming eccentric.
Films are screened in the Meyer Auditorium of the Freer Gallery of Art and are 35mm and in color unless otherwise indicated. Seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis.
