The Sir Jamsetjee Jejeebhoy trust has a plot of ½ acre land in Udwada opposite their sanatorium.
They have decided to make this into a Recreational Garden,& gift it to the people to use.
At a focal point in the garden they have invited sculptor Arzan Khambatta to design a sculpture for the garden.
Keeping in mind the Parsi theme, Arzan Khambatta designed a sculpture titled Divine Radiance, of the holy fire in an Afarghanya, but, with a slight twist.
The afarghanya can be seen by the 3 carved sandstone verticals that hold the blazing steel flames on just 3 balance points.
The bright sun in the morning and the lighting at night make the steel flames appear alive.
